Springtime in Charlotte is glorious with all the trees and flowers in bloom. Summers are warm and somewhat humid. Autumn brings the beautiful change of color in the leaves. Winters are mild with an occasional snowfall that usually melts within a day.
Charlotte's cost of living index and affordable housing are another big draw for the city. Most 'transplants' from the upper northeast, Florida and California are pleasantly surprised at how much more house they can purchase in Charlotte... in addition to lower property taxes and homeowner's insurance.
